Lebogang is a respected leader, eloquent in English, seSotho and isiZulu. She has academic qualifications that include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School, Harvard University (USA),a postgraduate diploma in Ethics and a BA degree in Education from the University of Witwatersrand (WITS), South Africa.
Lebogang is a national asset and has served on many Task Teams locally, regionally and internationally. She is an internationally recognised speaker, well known for her passion about gender justice specifically and social justice in general and is a sought-after contributor on many platforms in South Africa.
Lebogang has been at the Soul City Institute for the last 25 years and the CEO for the past 8 years, providing strategic leadership to the organisation during the implementation of large grants from the National Department of Health, PEPFAR, DFID, EU and the Global Fund. After 20 years of being globally recognized as a Health and Development communication organization, Lebogang led the provisioning of Soul City into a Social Justice Organization for young women and girls. Since the repositioning, the organization has implemented various programs focusing on social structural issues facing young women and put them at risk of HIV.
